Mit 12 Projektionsabenden am Bahnhof sind insgesamt 12 unterschiedliche Themen aus der Bilderwelt der Bürgerbeteiligung gezeigt worden. Doch jetzt wird der Projektionsort gewechselt – vom Bahnhof zum Fraunhofer ISIT, und damit vom Zentrum der Stadt an den Rand.
Auf der riesigen Fassade des Fraunhofer ISIT von 36 Metern Breite eröffnet sich nochmals eine neue Dimension, die auch eine andere Technik benötigt, einen Mega-Projektor von 120 kg Gewicht mit 30.000 Ansi Lumen, für den extra ein Turmgerüst gebaut wird.
Gezeigt werden am Freitag 05.11. und Samstag 06.11.über 100 Bilder aus dem Reinraum des Fraunhofer ISIT: Fotos von Mikro- und Nano-Elementen, von polarisiertem Licht mit Interferenzen, die zum Teil unter dem Elektronenmikroskop entstanden sind. Hier wird das Unsichtbare sichtbar gemacht. Die Attraktion liegt in der Verbindung von Bild und Ort, eine Fusion von Materie und Fantasie, von Naturwissenschaft und Kunst. Auf dem Gebäude, das durch seine Wafer-Struktur selbst ein Kunstwerk ist, verschmelzen Bild und Fassade zu einer neuen Einheit.
Zusätzlich wird hier auch die Bilderwelt der bunten Session aus der Bürgerbeteiligung projiziert und erweitert das Spektrum um ganz realistisch erkennbare, konkrete Motive.
Am Bahnhof sind die Besucher zu „ihren“ Bildern gekommen, aber auch Fotobegeisterte haben sich mit ihrer Ausrüstung regelmäßig eingefunden, um die ganz besondere Anmutung der Bilder auf der Fassade einzufangen.

Reisende und Passanten haben sich spontan fesseln lassen, schnell ein Handy-Foto geschossen, Rad- und Autofahrer haben zum Fotografieren angehalten, sogar an der roten Ampel wartende Busfahrer haben diskret das Handy gezückt, um einen dieser Momente festzuhalten. So war auch die Absicht hinter der Konzeption. Zufällige Passanten sind am Stadtrand eher weniger zu erwarten, aber viele neugierige Besucher.
Am Freitag 5.11. und Samstag 6.11.21 beginnen die Projektionen bereits um 18:30 Uhr.
Das Fraunhofer ISIT verfügt über ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten und ist auch mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Vom Bahnhof Itzehoe Haltestelle „Viktoriastraße/Bahnhof Itzehoe“ mit dem Bus 4 Richtung „IZET/ISIT“ oder Bus 5 Richtung „Zusastraße“ zum Fraunhofer ISIT. Der Bus hält direkt am Eingang vor dem ISIT-Gebäude.
Den Abschluss des Lumen+Colours Projektes bildet dann von Mittwoch 10.11. bis Samstag 13.11.21 noch einmal am Bahnhof eine große Projektion u.a. mit Bildern des Künstlers Wenzel Hablik, und zwar seiner Werke und von Fotos aus seiner Geschichte. Zum großen Finale können dann die Best-Of-Bilder aus der Bürgerbeteiligung noch einmal erlebt werden.
